Sarcastic Bastard

wow, it's been a while since i did one of these, but i've got some stuff i have to get off my chest.

people are dumb. it's really getting ridiculous. i'm on the bus today, and i just start getting mad for no real reason. i guess it's a combination of a number of things. first of all, there was the inexcusable wait for both the subway and the bus. the bus was just sitting in the damn station for WAY too long! (here's a little fairy tale about a sarcastic bastard who went to the bus platform, and a bus came and took him home! wow, that's far-fetched...that'd never happen in real life!). then there are the smelly people on the bus. and why is it that everyone tries to squeeze me out of every possible inch of room on my seat! i'm not a big guy, but i need my space! i'm sitting there, with my hands to myself, squished into one of those tiny little seats, meanwhile the fucknut beside me is practically stretching out, his elbow jabbing me in the stomach, and sometimes, just to top it all off, his shitty music blaring in my ear! all i want is a little peace and quiet! what else...let's see...ok, can't think of anything else that specifically pisses me off on the bus.

but in general, i've found society as a whole to be getting worse all the time. now, of course i have a particular pet peeve for americans, but canadians are getting worse (but still not nearly as bad). here are some of the problems:
- stupid
- lazy
- clueless
- arrogant

how did we get this way? it burns me up inside to see people going about their daily lives the way they do. destroying the planet, killing each other, and the greed that corrupts so many is enough to drive a person nuts. we have a bunch of idiots running the world, and making all the decisions. what the fuck do they know about it? north america is supposed to be free, but we are repressed! even freedom of speech, allegedly the most sacred freedom we have, is completely non-existent, especially now. well, i DO think george w bush is a fool, and i do think americans got a wake-up call they so richly deserved (no, i don't agree with the means, and i think it is terrible what happened). the fact is, the united states has stomped all over the rest of the world for too long, and other nations have every right to be angry with the US. not to mention the utter incompetence of the united states military. they may have the biggest bombs and the best equipment, but the personel running it probably can't even hit the toilet! they've been barraging afghanistan (by the way...did any americans know where/what afghanistan was before this happened? half of them can't even find canada on a map!)...as i was saying, they've been bombing afghanistan for about 3 weeks now, and haven't really accomplished anything. the afghans held up against the russians in the 70s, and they'll withstand the americans for quite a while, because they know how to survive.

but enough bashing the united states. i don't really hate them, i'm just sick of the bullshit that is politics there. humanity deserves better than a world obsessed with the stock market, and what today's dollar rate is.

i feel better. i came home tonight very angry. this sort of thing builds up. i guess you could call writing this little diatribe therapeutic. it is. someone reading it may take this post the wrong way (if anyone reads it)...someone might think i'm a terrorist-to-be, or an anarchist. well, i don't really give a shit what someone reading this thinks, because that person is probably a fucking moron.
